What's the difference between Spell Catcher X and Spell Catcher X Lite?

Spell Catcher X 10.2.3 can be used in Trial mode for 14 days (with some limited functionality). If you are upgrading a licensed installation of Spell Catcher X version 10.1.3 or earlier, you must upgrade your existing "SCX" license after installing version 10.2.3. Upgrading your "SCX" license is either free, or $14.95USD. You can quickly check your upgrade eligibility if you so desire. It only takes a few seconds to upgrade your existing license from within the Spell Catcher application.

To install a Spell Catcher X language, simply download it by clicking a link to the right. Most browsers will automatically open disk image files after the download is complete. If your browser doesn't, locate the file and double-click it. Open the "Easy Install" application and follow the onscreen instructions. More details and other language installation options can be found in the "How to Install" document.

The Spell Catcher X Uninstaller application is included on the installation disk image. We are making it available as a separate (much smaller) download as well.

This manual is included in the Spell Catcher X 10.2 application, choose Spell Catcher User Manual from the Help menu in the Spell Catcher application. It's available here as a separate download for your convenience.

This manual describes the original Spell Catcher X 10.0 software. While much of it is useful and relevant, documentation for new features introduced since Spell Catcher X 10.1 are not included. Other parts are outdated (the Installation instructions, for example). The best source of documentation for new features is the online Help Book. Choose Spell Catcher Help from the Help menu in the Spell Catcher application to view the online help, or view it on our web site.

Other useful sources of documentation are the "What's New?" documents. Choose What's New? from the Help menu in the Spell Catcher application, or view them on our web site.

Spell Catcher X 10.2.1 is still available for those using Mac OS X 10.2 through 10.3.8.

It's as simple as copying a file to a specific folder on your hard disk.

For some folks, this will fix the problem where the Input Menu disappears when restarting with auto-login set for a specific user account.
